Urgent Prayer Request

Some of you know that my uncle Dennis was diagnosed with cancer last week. He died Monday night. His three children are all married now leaving my auntie Gayle at home all by herself. It's gonna be a very rough road for her getting along without my uncle Dennis, so please keep her in your prayers. He did so much for her. Everything is going to remind her that he's not there any more.
He was a Christian, so he's now in the presence of Almighty God praising Him all the day long! (Not fair!:)
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support.

My Past, Present, and Future (in short)

Hello Everyone!
I'm sorry it's been so long since I've written to y'all, but my excuse for the last two months is I've been very busy. "What have you been doing?" you wonder. Well, I'll explain.
May 21-24 (Mon.-Thur.) was beach camp. YUSSSS! We go to the beach for three days and just have fun. One of those days was spent entirely climbing sand dunes and rocks, looking for and catching crabs, and eating good food. (OK, so I didn't actually catch any crabs. David and I threw rocks while John John and Rachel caught the crabs. But I held the bucket!) I spent most of my time with John John, Rachel, and David.
Then we only had a week before we left for our first trip to Vegas. We left at 7 A.M. Thursday, May 32, went to CA for a wedding on Saturday, and that night drove to Vegas to be there in the morning for church. We spent a gleeful four days under the care of the Wright family, but, saddly, had to leave Thursday morning to come back home. We got back at 6 A.M. Friday morning. During the day we did laundry and cleaned. That night we went to Logan's graduation. I spent the night at Rachel's house and started the The Thin Man series. (They're an old black and white detective, movie series. I really liked them.)
Sunday was church, and there was a special graduation ceremony for the three people from our church who graduated highschool this year. I spent the woppin' three hours we weren't at church that day at, of course, Rachel's.
Monday I cleaned the house a bit, and then helped David's family move from 1-10 P.M. (Yep, a nice, long day.) I spent the night at Rachel's again. (We had to finish The Thin Man series.)
Tuesday was my lesson (violin) and family night. Big and I played cribbage most of the night.
Wednesday evening we went to Rainier (about 45 minutes away from Woodland) to help the Glenns move. (I decided that I really like helping people move. It's great fellowship.)
Tonight is Impact Bible study and Planters' Day fireworks at Horseshoe Lake Park. (Another late night.) Oh, and I cleaned a lot again today.
Tomorrow is helping Glenns actually move into their house in the evening. At 7 P.M. is a violin recital at my teacher's church AKA the Baptist Church. I'm bringing Megan and Ruth home with me to watch The Phantom of the Opera then taking them home afterward.
Saturday is the Planters' Day parade and more moving the Glenn family.
Sunday is Father's Day.
Then we only have three and a half days to get ready for our second trip to Vegas. We're leaving next Thursday after Mommy gets off work. We'll spend two Sundays in Vegas leaving after church Sunday, July 1.
We'll get home just in time for 4th of July. After that we don't have anything planned 'til August 12, family camp.
Whew! The summer's always so busy!
So, what do the rest of ya have planned for the summer?

Tina

Isn't it wonderful? I have a pig too.

Don't ya just think he's the most adorable lil guy? I love him.

Our old youth leaders J.J. and Maria brought their son, Nathaniel, to visit. They adopted him right after we moved here, so we hadn't seen him yet. He's so cute!

And John John and J.J. ended up trying to hit golf balls over the road into Lewis River. They made it several times. Isn't J.J. amazing? He's the bestest youth leader ever!

Hope You're Cool Like Me!

This is way mean. I got it in an e-mail from Faith. (She be da-bomb girl for this kind of stuff!)

At the end of this message, you are asked a question. Answer it immediately. Don't stop and think about it. Just say the first thing that pops into your mind. This is a fun "test"... AND kind of spooky at the same time! Give it a try, then e-mail it around (including back to me) and you'll see how many people you know fall into the same percentage as you. Be sure to put in the subject line if you are among the 98% or the 2%. You'll understand what that means after you finish taking the test".

Now... just follow the instructions as quickly as possible. Do not go to the next calculation before you have finished the previous one. You do not ever need to write down or remember the answers, just do it using your mind. You'll be surprised.

Start!

How much is:

15 + 6

3 + 56

89 + 2

12 + 53

75 + 26

25 + 52

63 + 32

I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's nearly over..Come on, one more!

123 + 5

QUICK! THINK ABOUT A COLOR AND A TOOL!

Scroll further to the bottom....

A bit more...

You just thought about a red hammer ! , didn't you?

If this is not your answer, you are among 2% of people who have a different, if not abnormal, mind. 98% of the folks would answer a red hammer while doing this exercise.

If you do not believe this, pass it around and you'll see.Be sure to put in the subject line if you are among the 98% or the 2%and send to everyone, including the person that sent it to you..

STEAK

YAY! My daddy bought a B.B.Q. yesterday! We had to get rid of ours TEN months ago when we moved, but now we finally have one again!

For you to fully understand my excitement, you need to know that we BBQed ALL the time, summer, winter, fall, spring. Our family can never get enough BBQed food. So this last TEN months we've been experiencing some serious withdrawals. Hence my excitement to be BBQing tonight. *sigh* It's gonna be downright good!

BBQ'a are just so great. You get to be outside smellin' the fresh, spring air mingled with the mouth-watering aroma rising from the sizzling chunks of big, juicy, steaks cookin' on the grill. *sigh* Oh yeah. This is the good life.

Oh, and in referance to the comments, I was talking aout Chris. He had just been gone for so long that I had started to think that maybe he had kicked off or somethin'. :D But Jesus does live! Thank the Lord! I don't like to think about where we'd be without Him.
